In an international environment, differences in behaviour, habits and customs can generate misunderstandings, frustration and low performance. An international project can be held up or even abandoned, negotiations can be broken off.
Similarly, an unprepared expatriation can result in the failure of the project or an early repatriation. The human and financial toll is generally very high.
It has been proved that intercultural training facilitates the adaptation of expatriates to their host culture (Black & Medenhall, Cross-cultural training effectiveness, Academy of Management Review, vol. 1990). Intercultural training is a valuable time-saver.

"This seminar is completely in line with the objectives, which are in particular to identify the issues and the difficulties of communication in a cultural environment that is different and often destabilizing"
